Not really seeing anything screaming #1 with a bullet. I never really bought into the narrative about this QB class in the first place though. I'd take Hendon with one of our 2nds if he's there. Maybe Levis but I really don't like the offense he's in so hard to judge

Levis is in a pro style offense, what offense were you thinking he would need to be in to like it?

I mean the actual play calling I've seen, not the system. Mainly last game where I was trying to get a good look at him and they ran the ball like 50 times. I know they had the lead but it's hard to judge. Vs Tennessee this week should be a good Hooker vs Levis evaluation game. Kentucky should be forced to throw down field more

Yeah, they arent running an offense thats about throwing the ball 40-50 times. Kentucky had their BYE already, and Levis has 164 attempts. Ohio state hasnt had their BYE yet, and Stroud has thrown 190 times. Young's bye week is this week and he is at 221 attempts. They are in the same range.

Levis is running a variation of the McVay/Shanahan offense. His OC's for the past two years come from the Rams and 49ers (Liam Cohen, Rich Scangarello). Him and Young (Bill O'Brien) have NFL guys calling plays out of NFL playbooks.

Ohio State has had their BYE. It was the week before they played Iowa.

There’s no comparison with Fields beyond the same school. Stroud throws a better ball and Fields was a one read QB. Stroud is the total package.

It's just lazy analytics.  Is Hurts like Jones, Tua, or Young?  Is the current Clemson QB anything like Lawrence?  Be better people.

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
