I’ll let you in on a little insight I’m thinking like a fan because I am one. I care about the team not individual players or coaches. Trust me I know the players and coaches want to win but blind Freddy can see they’re in the bottom 5 sides in the league. How many times do people say that they should of given player a or player b some snaps so we have an idea going forward that’s why we need to treat this year as an roster evaluation year.

And don’t try and sell me on scraping into the playoffs because of our garbage division. Then getting 50 hung on us in the wildcard round, all while losing a poo load of draft value would be the best path to improving our sides future

Well, you might as well accept that this team is not tanking so Aussie Tank can have his way.

It's a very shallow way of looking at things.  Basically, if you are below .500 a month or so into the season, it's time to tank.

We're not getting anywhere because of your illogical beliefs so just leave it.  You want to tank the season, I don't believe in tanking EVER so we are clearly on opposite sides.

Haha moral victories look fantastic in a trophy cabinet. And we’re well below .500 at the moment

Quarterback and then every other pick should be used on weapons and offensive lineman to surround him with. hopefully someone in this pathetic organization learned their mistakes with Cam. Our in house Jack Easterby can make sure to tell them how they did nothing at all to help Cam.

Other than spending draft picks on tall WR to cover Cams penchant for high throws?

Your either a contender or not what’s the point of costing ourselves assets for moral victories that shouldn’t matter to professionals

Lets just pretend this ignorance holds water. 8-9 teams start losing on purpose to get higher draft picks. How long until the NFL starts taking draft picks from those teams?

#1 WR

QB

3a route running/high % catch WR

3b speed receiver/return specialist

Pass catching RB -Marshall Faulk/CMC

Pass catching TE

Pass blocking LT

Run defending DE

Run defending DT

MLB

FS (move Chinn to SS)

Kicker

4 more championship offensive leaders to build around

2 more championship defensive leaders to build around

Need a lot more pieces than the Panthers have to be a championship team

TBH any starting QB will be gone with the first two picks. So reaching for QB would be a massive mistake this year. With that said. WR, TE, OLB, DE, FS, G,RB, and MLB are all places we could improve. Honestly a BPA strategy would work because outside of LT, RT, SS, and CB we are weak.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
