You don't.  Just root for us to win tomorrow afternoon

I will, I'm just being a realist.  A Wales + England win tomorrow (the most likely scenario) pretty much eliminates the US as England would have zero to play for vs. Wales and sit their key players.

But hopefully I'm wrong.

Yeah we really needed the win Monday but we'll see. Our best strategy is probably pack it in and play for 0-0

Not the way I thought we would get the draw. That chance in the 26th minute has got to be buried.  Still proud of the way we played. If we can't beat Iran we don't deserve to advance

That was a great game, and of the two sides, the US looked the more dangerous throughout most of the game. Should be a huge confidence booster for the next one against Iran.

Let's go get that win guys!

That was an awful game of football.

I do wish Southgate would take the handbrake off. He seems content to just qualify from the group by settling for draws and beating the god-awful teams. Thankfully Iran and Wales are god-awful.

Please tell me what device you are posting from? I'm not saying you're wrong about the human rights  just want to see which sweat shop your product has ties to

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And nearly every stitch of clothing we're wearing- I get it.

But last time I checked, none of that involved millions in bribes being paid to an international organization and the resulting 6,000 deaths to forced labor immigrants who were promised something completely different.

You don't think sweat shops have resulted in way more imprisonments and deaths? I agree fans shouldn't have gone and poured money into the country but fifa not holding a tourney there won't change anything.  The rest of the world can not buy oil from those countries would but everyone knows that isn't going to happen.

We also are their biggest importer so don't act like it's fine for us to take their money but watching a soccer game held there is not.

Country Import USD$

United States $5,442,907,279

    • Yes, he's a tier above them, but you also touched on the money side of it.  With T-Mac locked in as our #1 on a rookie contract for a few more years, I'd much rather use that money that would be needed for DJ on our defense and develop Coker into our #2.   Especially given his contract situation as an UDFA, as his contract is up at the end of this year but we can keep him around for a 3rd team controlled year on the real cheap.  Which means we probably could get him to sign a very reasonable extension this offseason to give him a little more money while giving us a bargain contract for what he provides. DJ's contract is north of $20 million for the next 5 years, why pay that for your #2 WR with the needs we have on defense and you have guys like Coker, XL, and Horn on rookie contracts who very well could combine to be a serviceable 2-4 WRs behind a stud in T-mac? I love DJ and he'd be a great fit on this team as our #2, but the money side of it just makes absolutely zero sense, that's all it comes down to for me on this one. And no, I don't see the Bears wanting XL back in that trade, because they drafted Burden, who is essentially a better version of what XL provides, a player you want to get the ball into their hands and let them go to work.
    • I didnt see that many bad calls in the panthers cowboys game, but the chiefs especially in the playoffs were getting every single call they could get then the refs when it didnt matter would throw a call towards the other teams.  That I believe was the taylor swift effect.   But its crazy just thinking about how easy it is to change a game.  You dont need but a single ref to make a few close calls go towards one team over the other and in the nfl that is the game.
    • I don't think it's unrealistically blaming Bryce Young......to say has been a reason, sometimes a big one, in why our pass offense overall has been extremely week over the past 3 collective seasons.  I think that bothering anyone, is just being overly invested in some Bryce Young argument.  It's just a reality.
