Has played well to end the season.

Needs another year to put it all together. Arm talent is there.

Biggest improvement he's made is climbing the pocket which is a really big deal at the next level.

I sat 4th row on the home side of every game and was able to observe his demeanor. He doesn't seem to lose his cool like you would expect given his reputation.

Right now I'd give him 4th-5th round.

I think he could climb to the 2nd if he has a good year next year.

In general, I don't think that it's a good idea for us to be turning our nose up at any QB with upside.🤷🏻

that's the thing that i have to keep reminding myself of. no matter where you pick, it's going to be a gamble.

no way do i think he should be the only addition to the QB room we make in the offseason, either. as fluky as QB can be, it would be hard to justify not coming out of the draft with a couple prospects. We've got to keep swinging.

I hope he comes back but I don't think he will unfortunately.

See, this is a reasonable take by a Gamecock fan.

Saying you would take him in the 2nd this year?  Isn't.

If the new regime and GM all agree he’s the guy I don’t care where they draft him. Just get me somebody to be excited about.

if the new regime all gets together and says Spencer Rattler at the top of the 2nd this year makes sense.  We should of just kept Matt Rhule.   You can't get excited about that.

To each their own about what can or can’t excite you. I find ways to be optimistic about most things.

DJU was once a Heisman candidate.   Let's pretend he blows up at the ACC Championship and the Bowl game with great numbers.  You going to be excited for him in the 2nd round if they tell you to be.

Nobody can tell me what to be excited for. But yea when they get here, when we got them no longer matters. If they show some reason to be excited for, I will be.

    • summary: "let's talk about your draft, what did you think about Freeling" Dan:   guys with a huge upside, can come in and compete to start.  High ceiling "he does what for your offense?" Dan:   it's hard to find left tackles, guys that big and athletic.  We have Icky coming off an injury, we signed Walker, I believe your offensive line can never be too strong.  If we're going to win the game, it's gotta be up front on both sides of the ball, so we make a point of emphasis on making both sides of the front as strong as possible. "how many mocks did you see Monro falling to you." Not many times, left tackles are gonna go a lot earlier than when we took him.  We want to add the best player, in free agency or the draft"  that's our philosophy, to get the best players possible. "Hunter and Brazzell." Dan:  we followed the board.  Lee we felt very highly of him , super strong.  Brazzel so flexible and loose, can open the verticle.  Will Lee we held in high regard. "you take a look at your receiver room, Coker, my goodness, your offensive rookie of the year in Tet.  Lost Rico, but there is Jonathan Brooks. " Brooks coming off two knee injuries, he worked his way back, looking great, fully healthy, will help in pass and run game.  Icky, not sure when he's coming back but we're excited about both "plan on extending Bryce" we'll keep talking, will keep internally.  We believe in him, has such a great grasp of Canales and offense, has improved every year. "he's clearly come back from the benching, the arrow is trending up, where does he feel" Bryce knows where we stand with him, when and if a deal gets done, he knows we feel great with him, we'll get something done at the right time. "if this a prove it situation?" everyone in the building has to prove it, has to earn it. Tmac was everything we wanted, his work ethic, he's so big and talented, but he puts the work in, and is a great teammate. "your level of expectation, the building's level of expectation for 2026 "our goal is to win the division every year, we know we have to earn it.  we have to put the work in every day, proving it on the practice field, and our  guys know that." "schedule" we haven't opened at home in 2 or 3 years.  We love prime time games, hope we get some "
    • this one is gold:     Bryce has a cult inside the Panthers fanbase that has truly developed some NPC hivemind. I'll never understand how he's captured the true essence of the casual fan like that.
    • "everybody has to earn it, heading in the right direction, feel great about him, get it done at the right time"     Mother fuger
