Pretty interesting to see the perspective from different angles. He is a bit redundant on some points but he has a lot of valid points that we all know. I'm not sure what the future has in store for the HC job of the Carolina Panthers, what I do know is that these players respond to WIlks and he is deserving of at least a shot at the job.

Whether he gets the Panthers gig or not Wilks is earning the opportunity to coach somewhere next season.

Like I have said for a month. If he gets the team in the playoffs, you have to hire him. If not, all bets are off. Either way, I want to see a QB whisperer on the staff for Sam/new QB.

I wouldn't mind Wilks as much as I would mind Mcadoo.

I would compare Wilks coaching success to Darnolds recent play at qb.  Take that how you will.  They are both in situations where they arent asked to do too much and they are doint a pretty good job at it.   My question though, is that enough for you?

Yeah Wilks is gonna want a 3-5 year contract. 
I don’t feel comfortable giving a defensive, conservative coach that many years.

Because no coach has ever been given a 2 year deal. Probably because they would not take it. Wilks would be told to win now or be fired. Pretty much if he flames out next season he likely won't be retained. Dennis Allen got a 3 year deal and I expect, at a minimum Wilks would want that. Year one: Establish his team. Year Two: See improvement and possibly be in contention for a playoff spot. Year Three: Be a contender.

That was for a guy that had no NFL head coach experience. Probably need to bump it up a little bit there.

Please no. I really appreciate everything he has done here but we can't have an emotional response to this. That I think is one thing Tepper won't do fortunately.
