And so are people here who also spell it Wilkes. Jesus. Get their names right.

cry me a river.

Holcombe isn’t good enough at his job for anyone (but you apparently) to obsess over the proper spelling of his name.

Didn't see this anywhere but . . .

The Panthers’ search to replace former head coach Matt Rhule continued Monday evening as the organization requested interviews with Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen and Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, as reported separately by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.

no I don't watch college football and it's completely irrelevant. Harbaugh is proven at the NFL level with crappy QBs. If he gets himself a Mahomes type QB like Andy Reid did he'd be set up to build a dynasty. He's that good of an NFL coach. And Tepper is gonna blow it because of his ego

A "can't miss, sure fire hire" that does nothing but win that is a former 49er coach? Where have I heard that before? Think Stephen Colbert GIF by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert

Oh right! That ended up being this guy,

nov-2001-head-coach-george-seifert-of-th

And those results didn't turn out good at all.

Is this hostility/sarcasm or an actual request? Bc if there is an actual desire, I will set aside time this weekend to bring it up to the forum. I dont mind contributing to constructive conversation.

Actual request. I don't always agree with your posts, but you usually have good takes on things. So, disregard the previous post and please lay out your case. 😃

I don't think he's being sarcastic.

If you have reasons why to not hire him and you did a bunch of research, why would you NOT post it?

    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
    • Cos he looks much better?
