Beginning in 2003, MTBI published research in the journal Neurosurgery (whose editor-in-chief consulted for the New York Giants) that heavily downplayed the breadth and severity of concussions."

Don't forget the cities as well in this. Most stadiums in the NFL are leased not owned by the owners. So when they use the stadium for multi-use and leverage that purpose as the driving factor for turf... they are to blame as well. Which also might make it hard for the NFLPA to get this overruled bc the city doesnt have any obligation to the NFL or the NFLPA.

Tepper values using his stadium for multiple purposes over football.  He pretty much has said so.

The hybrid type of grass is a cool season grass which grows well in the UK/Europe but not in the south. They haven’t done it with Bermuda which is more than half the grass surfaces.

Good luck getting Jerry Jones, Blank and Kronke to tear out a giant holes in their new stadiums so they can roll out a field into his parking lot for sun.  😂

You can’t put the genie back in the bottle after these domes were built. You can’t roll in a grass field that doesn’t get sun. It won’t grow. And newly sodded fields are worse as the roots haven’t bonded together yet to make a solid surface.

It should not go away. These asshole owners need to start giving a $hit about the players.

      Mel Kiper said he would retire if Jimmy Clausen wasn't a successful NFL starter too. Just because the experts make a claim doesnt mean it's true either.  Bryce may be a serviceable QB for someone. Serviceable QBs don't bring you a perennial winner or lead you to the playoffs over and over. Serviceable QBs also dont get 50m plus per year deals which is what a Bryce extension would look like.  The stats show he hasn't been even a serviceable QB in the 3 years he's been here. The eye test shows he hasn't put together 2 franchise QB salary games back to back in 3 years.  Complain all you want about people being negative, but people pointing out that Bryce is held to a different standard than anyone else on the team isn't complaining. It's stating the obvious.

      We have big bodied WRs and 3 TEs who all have potential and each bring something different to the table. I never saw the need to go out there and try and find a new starting TE.  While it's nice to have a guy like McBride, Bowers, etc, I think a team's better use of the cap is by having TEs on rookie contracts or cheap vets, not having to pay elite TE money.
