Anybody see the 49ers losing to the Seahawks?  I sure don't.

Teams can interview coaching candidates after wildcard weekend.

But I'm guessing that the Panthers won't have an opportunity to interview Ryans until the 49ers are eliminated from the playoffs or during Super Bowl bye week.

I'm favoring the 49ers to represent the NFC in the big game.

Can't say for certain, but it honestly sounds like the Panthers didn't bother requesting.

So basically, we wound up pursuing neither Payton nor Harbaugh.

Good.  Do not want either one of them.

Those choices seem so bad, Payton may stay in the booth instead of hitching his wagon to QBs that got their HC fired.  Not sure who would want Houston.

I wonder how much the discrimination lawsuit is playing into the lack of interest in Wilks? Many teams may balk at the idea of paying someone in the midst of suing the League. JMO

That's another major thought I had in my head and why I thought it was questionable for us to make him an interim coach...
