Coaching Profile: Frank Reich

Reich may not be a young OC wunderkind but, he is a very experienced offensive minded coach that can call his own offensive plays.  He is high character, and his players respect him.  He can build an excellent staff from his many connections.  His team made the playoffs three of the four years he was HC, and with a revolving door at QB so, he can adjust to the players he is given.

I was admittedly looking for Johnson or Steichen and had, frankly, overlooked Reich.  That was my mistake.  Hire the man.

Lemme just add, if the Panthers make this all worthless by hiring someone else, I'm gonna go take a massive dump on David Tepper's lawn 🤬

Add Gus Bradley as a DC candidate as well.

and Marcus Brady as OC candidate

I should have added that in terms of experience, professionalism and character, Frank Reich is the molecular anti-matter to Rhule…

read some of the comments from Colts fans on the comments section.

If it isn’t clear to you by now, that the situation up there was due to Ballard and Irsay.  I don’t know what to tell you.

Why do you you think Siriani was so emotionally charged against them this year.

    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
    • I hear you but yeah like you say, above average. His numbers were good. You’d think it would be a no brainer. Anyhow… I guess the new staff is also fine with him walking?    I hope if we sign him there isn’t some secret issue of his that led to him not being valued.
