Looked like more of a traditional North/South runner, as well. Didn't see much elite agility.

Would like to see more tape of her in the passing game. Could be a 3rd down back.

Maybe red zone and goal line packages?

She would have to bulk up and hit the weight room. I fear that would take away from her speed and agility.

Maybe, but look how McCaffrey bulked up from his Stanford days to the pros and didn't lose a step.  High protein diet and anabolic steroids will get her there.

You might be right about the steroids. Pump her full and watch her go. But I think mountain dew would have the same effect and would be cheaper and less likely to get popped by the roid testing crew.

There was no one who wanted to be the coach of the Panthers more than Steve Wilks but it looks like Reich was right there behind him.  It is interesting how many people have ties to this area.  So nice for Reich that he now has all his family together.

I am getting the impression that he will have a very good staff.  Now, if he can just get the right QB this will be an amazing hire.  The Panthers will be set for years to come.

Fingers crossed that you are right.

The more I learn about him, and hear him speak. the more I like him.  I sure hope I am right too.

Frank is a great coach and a great man. He is a good fit for this team and I've always felt that way, even before the Colts hired him I wanted him here. But that didn't happen and he took on the Colts train wreck of a team. Even then he managed to do a respectable job there. But I never expected him to actually be the HC here.  I have more faith in him than any coach we've hired so far. I hope he proves that faith in him to be justified.

Based on what? There are plenty of examples of coaches being successful at their second jobs…

Bill B, Andy Reid immediately come to mind.  Dungy and Gruden both won the Super Bowl when they went to different franchises.  Sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me.  Someone is just mad their guy didn't get hired.

    • Weren't Icky and Grier both Panthers fans too?
    • I didn’t like this draft at all. XL, our first pick had one good season out of five and doesn’t have burst off the line.  I wanted Ladd here because I think he’d have been a much better pairing for BY9s weak arm.  We need to be an excellent west coast style offense if Bryce is gonna shine.  A burner that takes 3 steps to get moving and doesn’t separate at the line is a bad choice IMO. I don’t even want to talk about drafting a RB after having Foreman make us feel better about trading CMC only to send him packing and give Sanders top FA money last year to fall on his face.  We always try to get cute and find value.  The fact that we were the first team to take a RB (one recovering from a serious injury no less) tells you we didn’t get the memo 31 other teams got.  RB has a huge role in protection responsibility, it’s a huge reason some great backs are situational…they suck in protection.  A rookie RB helping protect BY doesn’t warm my heart.  We should have taken the top C on the board here IMO. LB and yet another project TE that’ll probably just frustrate us all for how long he hangs around seemingly doing nothing.  Then a bunch of dice rolls that aren’t changing any fortune unless it’s a complete accident. TLDR This whole draft looks like JAGs to me at best.  I don’t like the XL or JB picks at all.  Always happy to be wrong when I have a negative take.
