Things are coming together pretty well. Very I trusted to see how the offensive staff is put together. I have a feeling a few current Eagles staffers are coming since no movement with JBC. Maybe even a Chiefs staff member, but this only speculation because of the delay with the SB this weekend. I hope to see an emphasis on TE this year with a new personnel group and intuitive mind coaching them up.

It’s sad but inevitable. He will help the secondary but his lack of blitzing and soft cover zones late leave a lot to be desired.

True .... Both could be a recipe for failure!

Quick Note: I know everyone is likely aware that we might be waiting until after Sunday to try and snare a coach or two from the Eagles staff, but that may not be the only team we're waiting on.

And no, I don't mean the Chiefs, though that's possible (Matt Nagy has been suggested as an OC candidate).

I'm referring to the Colts.

The Colts still haven't hired a new coach (ahem, Jeff Saturday) and until they do, their assistants are in limbo. It's been mentioned that DC Gus Bradley will likely be kept, but the fate of the others is still up in the air.

So Monday could tell us a lot. In

This looks like this white dudes dad I used to hangout with in high school. He would dip about half a can at a time and tell us how Phil Simms “ain’tshit”.

Hardcore Redskins fan.

Kaye makes it sound like a Brian Johnson hire isn't likely...

If Kaye is right and we're looking for an OC from the Eagles, Kevin Patullo might be the guy.

Worth noting that Patullo has a direct connection to Frank Reich while Brian Johnson doesn't.

I think either one is solid. Right now, I’m not thinking Steichen gets a HC job. It that stands, it will be interesting to see if that changes things for Johnson. It will be interesting to watch though.

    • I understand that you are a Miami fan and want the Canes to get into the playoffs, but why should Bama, who finished the SEC with a 7-1 conference record not have been in the SECCG? Bama’s schedule was not unbalanced amongst SEC teams, at least not in Bama’s favor. Bama played Georgia, Vandy, Missouri, Tennessee, LSU, and Oklahoma, in addition to South Carolina and Auburn, in conference this year. The first four were in back-to-back-to-back-to-back weeks. LSU and Oklahoma were also back-to-back weeks with each of those opponents coming off a bye week the week before playing Bama. What else should they have done to be in the SECCG? Add Texas, coming off a bye, to a back-to back-to-back-to-back stretch of LSU-OU-Texas-Auburn?  I get that Bama got a ton of credit for being Bama during Saban’s run. Hell, they earned it and proved themselves to be among the top teams pretty much every time they got into the BCS/playoffs.  Do they deserve to be in the playoffs this year? I don’t know. It depends on how you think conference championship games should factor in. An extra game against a top ranked opponent provides an extra opportunity for a loss when other teams aren’t playing in that extra game.  The committee has already established the precedent that conference championship losses don’t affect things too much (SMU last year). I agree with that. It should affect overall seeding (IU as #1 with their win against OSU), but I’m not sure it should be used to the detriment of teams who make it those games. That’s such a crappy “reward” for making it to your conference’s championship game. Had someone else won the tiebreaker over Bama, Bama would be on right now.
