You know you're getting old when you can actually remember when SB commercials were good.

They have been so bad the last couple of years.  I remember not wanting to leave the room at all even on commercial breaks.  Now I just don't care.  Most of them are leaked online before the game anyway and just are nowhere near as creative or entertaining as the ones we grew up with...  it just isn't the same.

Butker has missed quite a bit. As  I've always said, Gano is the surer bet.

Sure. Except for the fact that one is 4th all time in FG% and the other is 24th. Wanna guess. But it was genius to pay Gano 10M to not even play while Butker was the 2nd best PK in the NFL while on a minimum rookie deal.

    • Evero prefers that smaller NT. I think the reason they don't use that many of the Wilfork style NT is there just aren't enough of them to go around. 360-375 is a lot of weight to sling around, and there aren't a lot of guys that can play dominantly at that size with the power needed to demand double teams consistently.  Even with Star/Short, Star ate an extra lineman most plays and that freed up Short 1v1.  I prefer a 4-3 with ball hawking LBs. To me, it's just more versatile because the hub of your defense isn't revolving around the health and dominance of a single D lineman. Also, with only a few between the tackle power backs, the run game has changed as well with a lot more dump offs and short yardage passing.
    • Faulk gets a lot of high marks for being a fantastic culture guy and has great measurements but his production leaves a lot to be desired. Not my top pick for the DLine but I would not hate it.
    • My take is that a formal meeting is something scheduled and probably recorded but an informal meeting isn’t.
