Perspective coaches look at the Panthers TE room and people wonder why that's the only positional group remaining with a vacancy.

If they aren't interested in coaching them up then what good are they?

The idea that coaches just what easy gigs without challenge doesn't seem based in reality.

If a coach has this approach you don't want them to begin with.

    • Again, KB did nothing wrong. The play was reversed after it was obvious that KB touched him when he was down. The video shows a ref 5 feet away who should have stopped the play. KB knew he already hit him while the CB was down. I watched that play and I saw he was down and knew we’d win the challenge. Just like when the ref told Cam he doesn’t get those calls yet, it did make me wonder if the ref swallowed the whistle since interception returns are a play where QBs can take a big hit. That was right around the “player safety” increase. Cam got hurt because the ref didn’t call the play dead even when it was ridiculously obvious the CB was touched down and the quick review and reversal showed that.
    • refs not rigging the SB for Manning’s retirement
    • I hope Freeling is a stud, but he's a roll of the dice. He's far from the finished product. Our OLine coach was giving him pointers at his Pro Day - he knows how much work Monroe has to put in. From a size / weight / agility standpoint he's the prototype LT. He needs to clean up his technique as he's winning on athleticism a lot at the moment, which won't fly in the NFL.
