Actually it's being debunked...

The Ravens basically said "if you really think this is what you're worth, see if you can find somebody who'll pay it".

So far, that's not going so well for him.

Schefter is right. It's a brilliant move on their part.

This is how good companies do business and the NFL is a business. 

I expect at some point he'll come back to the Ravens and end up signing a deal for less than what was originally offered.

I wonder if the reason that us, in particular, have not been interested in Lamar is because we already have a deal in place to move up to the top of the draft?  Perhaps all the way to 1?  Im thinking maybe they have already agreed to a deal and it will be announced around the 15th of this month when the new league year starts?
