That feels like a lot of money for Perine. We're talking about a guy who has rushed for less than 1000 yards in the last five seasons... combined.

Somewhat has fresh legs.  He was thought of just a bruiser early in his career but he showed with the Bengals  he has receiving back capabilities and can pass block.

Sean Payton loves to rotate RBs, ones that can do it all and Perine has shown he can when given the opportunity.

Also, I wouldn’t count 2018 and 2019, Washington and Miami did not give him any chances.  He’s had 500 scrimmage yards per season with the Bengals.  Obviously not eye popping numbers but for a back who can do it all and has fresh legs.  I think it’s a fair deal.

Josh McDaniels clearly didn't learn a damn thing from his debacle in Denver. He's doing the exact same thing in Vegas. He might end up black balled from the league after this.

I was living outside of Denver at the time and was going to nearly every home game (company had a suite at Mile High) and tried to tell folks it was every bit as bad as Lane Kiffen in Oakland, the only difference being that the Broncos didn't air out the dirty laundry like crazy ass Al Davis.

I remember thinking about a month after the Broncos hired McDipstick that they needed to fire him.  He had already set the place on fire in that short amount of time.

By his own admission, he doesn't deal well with people.  He commented that he had improved in that area since the Great Denver Debacle, but I don't see any evidence of it.  If the Raiders Razing ends up like the Denver Debacle, he may be back under Hoodie's wing.  Hoodie is not exactly a people person, either, but he manages to keep McDipstick in line.

His game-time decision making has not exactly been stellar either.  Which begs the question about whether his success was his, some chemistry he had with Brady and Hoodie, or was due to Brady and despite him.

Davis ought to be standing in the median of some busy intersection with a sign saying he needs money to fire and replace Josh McDaniels.  If he picked the right intersection in Vegas, he'd probably have the money in a matter of hours.

As an offensive mind, he can be amazing.

As far as leadership though, I wouldn't trust him to run a lemonade stand.

    • Been here since middle school right when it started around 2003 after the charlotte.com one. Living outside of Carolina it was tough to find good Panthers content, news or analysis. And no one to talk to about it. This place gave me a lot though I don’t often post. In the later days, I particularly Loved PhillyB’s write ups. They were fire. Too bad I go let it go. I appreciate the hell out of @MHS831 @TheSpecialJuan @Jackie Lee and others who have been posting great content and keeping this place worth coming back to. Particularly during the offseason. Appreciate y’all!
    • Nice explanation, but I was just messing with you. Thought that would be obvious. I dont have the energy to keep on trolling. Last season I compared our situation with Bryce as a potential Alex Smith, but what we should be looking for is our version of Mahomes. Some people will read that as one sentence, to me that single sentence is equivalent to a half A4 explanationf of the teams pathway forward.
    • I dont know how much of his salary would come across and how much a trade would cost but I feel Kmet would be the sort of TE Canales and Morgan would like
