Yes and no

We're officially the worst "placeholder" option out there since the expectation would be that if any Rookie QB was going to start from day 1, it would be the first one taken.

The Colts are likely to end up with someone who won't be ready to start week 1, same with whoever gets the other QB from the top 4 of them.

The Cardinals "placeholder" is likely to start the year as the starter, and who knows how long it will take Kyler to be ready, it could be a significant portion of the season that they get to play.

Nobody knows what is going on with the Jets yet, same goes for the Falcons and Bucs starting jobs too.

So it's not a matter of other teams or those players thinking they're legitimate starters, there are just other better opportunities out there for places to get early playing time than here.
