I think we need to stop with “weak division” rhetoric. The saints and falcons upgraded big time this off-season. Realistically the only weak division this year will be the AFC South.

falcons were huge winners of this free agency

I agree on this, which is why the QB selection is so important. If they are serious about winning the division i dont think you convince yourself to take a guy with development concerns.

Look at who they all signed…. Free agency wave 1 and wave 2 are done.

it’s not a silly take, it’s foolish for you to say that.

Who did they sign?  The Falcons are lost right now.  Who is their QB?  How are they better off so far?

Here is what I know…they are not good on defense.  No QB options.  Who is scary on that offense?  They have a good TE and a good WR.  Not worried about Atlanta personally.  We should have beaten them twice last season as is

If you haven’t followed their acquisitions … then why did you call my take silly? When you haven’t even kept track…. Smh.

if you think the falcons are lost… you are not in tune with our division.

How many games do the falcons win next year in ur opinion? Tampa? I agree the saints are a pain in the ass

Ok, I will be responsible here as possible.  Not attacking you.  They signed Jessie Bates,  who I think is the top safety available.  He is a safety.  A safety.

Is there another signing I should lose sleep about?  They have overpaid like fuggin crazy so far.   I disagree that they are much better.

Ask me after the draft.  Tampa will be bad, no doubt there.

falcosn and saints have done some serious roster upgrading over the last 10 days and that can not be overlooked.

    • This.  He knows where the seam is about to open, cuts, and accelerates hard. He’s slippery and tacklers always seem to be taking awkward angles to get to him. No dancing. Runs low and powerful. Almost never goes backwards for a loss. We’ve rarely had the guy who bounces off of tacklers. It’s nice seeing another one.
    • I can't speak for others but yes I read it. The conclusions are based heavily around the use of the statistical metric DYAR created by football outsiders and used by ESPN for this article. It only includes players whose production began in 2000. But excluding HOF running backs who produced BIG in an iteration of the NFL that was not yet catered to making things much easier for offenses in order for them to prop up more recent candidates is rather absurd and seems like just playing favorites regardless of where one might fall on their opinion of the use of the metric in question.
    • Same thing I first thought but then I saw it was against Jacksonville and took about half a second of playing to know. I was at that game.  I can't tell you my level of excitement when I saw it was Delhomme instead of Peete who came out for the 2nd half. Delhomme has and will probably always be my favorite Panther.
