Sir we would be in a place he's never been.

NFC Championship game gives us a chance to get to the SB. We woudn't be favored vs Philly but anything can happen.

Jump on the bandwagon man we have a legit team.

Sir stop living in fantasy world where rookies make teams Super Bowl contenders in 1 year and older vets don’t know that…

Hopkins has been around long enough to realize what's happening in Charlotte. He sees the high level coaching. He sees the commitment to winning - and not just the balance sheet. He sees the commitment to improving the offense by going all the way to the #1 pick to bring in a QB. And he's from SC. Sure he wants to win a Super Bowl, but more importantly he wants to play meaningful games in December. And doing it in front of your family every home game is HUGE!

Brock Purdy did it just last year.

Also I never said SB contenders. I said NFC championship contenders.

Of course a rookie is not beating those AFC QB's in a potential SB.

Omg!! Are you comparing this roster to San Fran right now???

Just stop you’re going in to a overhyped seizure.. lmao

With Hopkins yes.

Sorry you don't see our talent. I do. QB has been holding us back for years. We always had talent on defense. Oline is legit and under contract for the foreseeable future.

We can compete with any team in the NFC. This conference is not that great like I said only the Eagles and 49ers stand in our way.

Okay cool agree to disagree ..

Id rather live in the real world but you keep doing you..

Is Hopkins at this point in his career worth a 2nd round pick? He was traded for a 2nd round pick and more in his prime, he can probably be had for a 3rd.

It was Hopkins + a 4th, in exchange for David Johnson, a 2nd, and a future 4th. And at the time it was widely regarded as a dumb trade on Houston's part, for giving up a top 5 WR in his prime for that little. So I'm not sure we can use that trade as a good benchmark.

We aren't going to win the Superbowl this year. No need to get too anxious about stacking the roster.

Less worried about winning the bowl this year and more worried that our QB of the future really has no great targets to throw to to make his transition to the NFL easier.

Okay I was going to let you live in this but it’s obvious you just started liking football 4 years ago and now you’re feeling yourself.. and now you’re being loud and wrong.. So let me help you..

REASON WHY WE’re not a conference contender…

1. No team in nfl history does a defensive philosophy change (4-3 to 3-4) and is good at it right away.. So that means we might not be as stout on defense off the bat.. So that could cause some mistakes and losses early and best case scenario we see things start coming together by mid season and being better by the end..

2. New coach , new coaching staff, rookie QB and new weapons.. Don’t add up to winning right off the bat.. It takes time to form cohesion and consistency.. It takes time forming a identity.. Unfimilarity breeds mistakes and low confidence..

3. We really haven’t built depth yet at a lot of positions..

2 of our supposedly strong spots have major injury concerns… Oline might be missing both starting guards at the start of the season and the Cb are 1 injury away from Evans 200 yard game

please stop acting like we have a conference competing roster right now

Sir do you realize my contending in the NFC is based on getting Hopkins a true #1 WR?

Im not saying we can contend as of now. Getting a #1 WR takes our offense to a whole new level. Both Stroud and Bryce are accurate passers. Add in Sanders out of the backfield as a rusher and reciever. We are cooking Hurst is a decent TE threat as well.

Again im only saying we can contend for the NFC "if we get Hopkins".

Even if you get Hopkins it doesn’t mean this other stuff isn’t true..

This  isn’t basketball you can’t just add 1 person and be a contender…

If you don't realize how a #1 WR changes a offense I can't help you. Our only major weakness is WR. That's where we disagree. I think our roster is legit. You don't.

We can agree to disagree.

A offenses that has been together not a totally new offense with no identity or experience together..

and not to diss Dhop he isn’t Adams, Hill or Brown in their prime he is 32 years old he isn’t carrying a offense right now..

    • I can say that I have defended Canales because I get that they are doing all they can to keep from looking like idiots for drafting Bryce, from the trade up to signing $150m guards to drafting XL and Brooks etc---nothing seems to work.  And Hiring Canales was part of the Bryce Young rehab program, so so he can't really decide to "move on."  That has to come from Morgan and Tepper. Personally, I think Bryce is due for an injury.  He is small, he is not thick, and he has been a LOT more healthy than most any other QB has who has endured so much pressure.  The thing that bothers me is this---Bryce really does not go through his progressions quickly.  He locks on to his presnap read and stays locked onto him for too long--he seems to fail to anticipate the WR/TE's positioning on the play before the cut--for example, if the WR is running a dig and the CB has his back to the inside of the field, he should be open for a second or less just after the cut.  He seems to wait until the cut has been made before deciding, then checking down quickly while moving in the pocket. OL:  There seems to be a lack of communication--is that on Mays?  Watch this team presnap--they seem a bit confused at times.   I can almost predict the success rate of the play by watching the center and QB before the snap.
    • Anyone else remember back in 2010 when Fox piloted having music under the in-game replays during one of Carolina's games? Not the commercial bumpers but the actual replay clips that the announcers would talk over. Pretty sure it was vs the 49ers. And it was terrible. Point being, Carolina continues being so bad that we get the networks trying things out during their games.
    • Is it bad I found this video more hilarious than pathetic? I am still laughing at that one play where half the people on the field ran into each other and Bryce still couldn't see Chuba wide open... Also laughing at Cade blocking nobody and somehow losing his cleat Man this offense is a poo show
