Don't want to say it but hard not to agree.

The PNP guy said it was a "smart business decision" to weigh in at 204lbs at the Combine (and not participate in any drills) and then not weigh in a few weeks later when you HAVE to throw.

I don't think he knows what a smart business decision looks like.

Frank and Bryce with the stagged photo op dap up.   Frank gave it away looking for the que they were filming it.

Tin foil hat now on:

Dissed CJ - no dap

Fake/staged dap up w/ Young

We drafting a RB guys #1.  When is the last time we didn't have a first rounder on the roster.  The cycle is repeating!!!!!!

Lombardi also said Bryce Young is the much better prospect

CJ is good but robotic and the Ohio State offense doesn’t translate well to the NFL

That is the third time I have heard someone label CJ robotic.

Kurt Warner said it to Adam Thielen during the combine and Thielen agreed. Lombardi has said it, and Kyle Brandt said it.

The pundits are trying to fool dumb front offices into picking guys like Gabbert, Trubisky, Fields, Zach Wilson and Kenny Pickett higher than they should leaving the smart teams with a chance at a good/great player.

We called their bluff moving up for Matt Corral and we'll call it again when the team store is selling STROUD jerseys in short order, telling everybody he's a Panther, gracefully hanging up the phone and let the teams below us figure QB out from the rest of the crop.

Low risk/high reward

Get LOUD about it!

Reich doesn’t look nearly as enamored in that parting of ways as he did with Stroud. Looks almost disinterested.

I would imagine a woman having two suitors both guys look so much alike people could say they could be brothers or twins.

Both charming, both hilarious, both aggressive, smart and one is 5'91/2 and the other is 6'21/2".

All things are equal including salary but height...

Is robotic a bad thing? I consider Brees, Manning and Brady robotic.

    • I mean, if Moore really wants out, then it would behoove the Bears to make it happen sooner than later. X is a lot younger and cheaper, and may be a better fit for Johnson's musings than a disgruntled, unnecessary, overpaid vet. If they can dump his salary and maybe get a fourth or so in return, it may be worth it to them. As for development, I'm not concerned. You're talking about a seeming bust, a day three guy and a UDFA. They are developing relative to their ceilings. I doubt any of them will ever command the coverage, money, or the respect that Moore has acquired. He's a tier above them. Yes, even X.
    • IMO, if Ceedee plays against us, the game probably goes the other way. Same with Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins. Our team just isn't designed to beat teams with two high level receivers like that. But when you look at the league, how many teams really have two guys of that caliber?  There's nothing wrong with defensive adjustments, but sometimes I think a lot of fans want Evero to call a different play like a game on madden, and defensive football just isn't like that. That said, I thought we did a much better job this season against the Cowboys of flipping Jaycee and at least making them work for it, opposed to last season when they literally just lined CeeDee up on the other side of the field every single snap.  For us to just straight up switch to consistent man coverage, or a different zone, or whatever, we likely would consistently need different personnel on the field. Doing it a few times a game is a gamble and can work, but if we consistently run man coverage against the Cowboys, eventually a RB is going to beat a linebacker, or something of that nature with our personnel. Part of the reason Evero likes this scheme is that, while we have our defaults and presets, what we do is very multiple, and you can do a lot of different things pre and post snap. We are a challenging defense to read. But as you said, if guys are getting beat, it doesn't really matter what you call.
