I was more excited for Stroud. But I'll believe in our the former QBs in our FO to be making the right call here.

Let me go watch some Bryce highlights and see if anything gets me excited.

I gotta be honest, this is like trying to rub one out to a video where the star just really isn't your type. That's Bryce. My semi-flacid fantasy QB.

That pretty much sums up my feeling as well. The Panthers have some fine coaches that are very capable of evaluating QB's, so whoever they chose I will applaud and gladly support.

I think both QB's will excel in the NFL and Bryce Young will prove his size doesn't matter and prove his doubters, which I once was, wrong.

Tomorrow’s pressers will be well interesting now.

Kyle Bailey at WFNZ just said they sent out the stuff to all the media people randomly out of the blue on Friday

Looking over his posts, he was a rhule guy, a darnold guy, a malik willis guy, a baker guy and now a bryce guy.  So we are basically fuged

It sounds like Fitt and Reich finally had their meeting to talk about who they liked, and it was like “say who your crush is on 3. 1…2..” and they both say Bryce Young and start high fiving and grab assing.

Now that the Young pick looks to becoming a reality, im starting to like Darnell Washington as the pick at #39 if he's available.

Giving Young a big target like that he can grow with would be awesome. Washington is also the best blocking TE in this draft. We can use him in many ways in this offense.

that would be a lot of roster space for tight end

    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
    • Cos he looks much better?
