I had Josh McCown as new QB coach before there was any news on it. Same for Parks Frazier and Thomas Brown for their respective positions.

But if you don’t want insider info, and just call it false statements that’s cool. I don’t need to post here anymore.

You are appreciated! Disregard the trolls.

Aaron Wilson posted an article on Twitter stating the bears and Texans had trade talks. One of the proposals was sending the 2 and 12 to the bears for the first pick. It doesn’t state if that’s what the bears asked for or the Texans offered, just curious, if they offered 2 and 12 to Carolina, should they take it?

I think Bryce is the best QB in this draft but not by that wide of a margin. Hypothetically speaking if that’s on the table I highly consider it as I don’t think the drop off between Bryce and CJ/AR is that large. If they threw in a 24 first I’m probably even more eager on it. The thing with this draft is it’s so weak at the top. But I think CJ & JSN >> Bryce

That would be enticing, but I believe the ship has sailed. All parties involved have begun envisioning BY as our franchise QB. Indeed, the source says BY will soon have a home in Charlotte.

Decision has not BEEN MADE I really wish yall would relax either way we win but yall trying to push this Bryce agenda need to chill..

Unless of course Scott fitterer is a member of this board

He will be in a few years when his turkey neck fat fuging ass gets fired for drafting a dude who is 5 inches away from being classified as a little person with the first overall pick continuing a trend of this franchise being a Super Bowl free joke.

You started strong there but lost the momentum at the end.  We are talking about a generational talent in Bryce Young and he plays the most important position.  You don’t trade yourself into a position to get him to then trade yourself out of it

And I get that, I actually have the utmost faith in our current personnel. If they’re that convicted in him then they probably shouldn’t move off him for anything. I like Bryce plenty as a prospect and think he’s a lock to be a top 5 pick in every draft ever, but I do think there are some red flags and I like what CJ offers quite a lot as well. But again, I’m just a random guy who’s never played a down of football. I do my scouting by following people I trust on twitter and watching YouTube videos, hardly a perfect science. I’m not saying this is the right opinion, if our FO comes to the determination that Bryce is that much better than the rest then I have faith in them. Just to the average Joe like me I think it’s close enough that I’d trade Bryce for CJ if it meant an extra top 15 pick to go with it.

    • Jeremy Fowler draft intel on the Panthers: “Carolina was high on Proctor. If he somehow slipped to 19, he was a viable option.” “Caleb Lomu was on the Panthers short list too.” “Panthers weren’t totally comfortable with Stowers there at 49.”   https://x.com/panthersontap/status/2049827264972353727?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
