Landing a MNF game at home as our opener beginning a new era of Panthers football is a pretty big deal.  Besides, the Panthers only abstained last time, we didn’t vote “no.”  There is nothing to indicate Tepper was firmly in the “no” column to begin with.  He possibly only abstained once he heard the vote was close to see if he could get anything at all.

I dont hate the 4 week advance notice.   Would have preferred 6 weeks from both a fan and a player perspective, but even that might not allow for making TNF a meaningful game

Honestly, I still hate the Thursday night games. Sure seems like the players do.

The big stinker about this entire thing is it displaces FOUR teams fans instead of just two.  An entire stadium of fans will be scrambling to see how they can change their plans from Sunday to Thursday, while an entire other stadium of fans will be scrambling to see how they can change their plans from Thursday to Sunday.  It would almost be better if they didn't have a Thursday Night schedule for the flex weeks.  Then only one stadium of fans would be impacted.

Amazon doesn't give a poo about the stadiums/fans they just want a competitive game on their slot. Coulda seen this coming before agreeing to give them TNF
