I still think the long term plan is to have Corral as the #2 at some point in the future. Dalton's time in the NFL is coming to a end soon so makes since to prep both guys. I still don't get the hate for Corral on this forum, I mean, even Fitterer warned us he would be a project QB... Give him time to develop!

If Corral is still on this team at any point where he'd be the main backup, then our coach would have done him a great disservice.

People never run out of things to complain about.

AIn't that the bloody truth. Any slight, whether real or imagined can set them off. Although I will admit we have some who are so bad at it, it's a form of entertainment all its own. lol

Dude, with all due respect. Nobody cares. You are preaching to an empty choir.

Dude, just stop. You aren’t that guy. You think you are, but you aren’t.

Rhule comes up in every thread. He sucked bad enough, no need to invent stuff, so if I want to correct someone with facts, I will. I really don’t care about your opinion so feel free to not reply to my posts.

Future rookie of the year.

Very decent chance of it. I think he's definitely in the best situation of all the likely rookie QB starters. OROY is virtually always a QB, RB, or WR. WR seems highly unlikely this year. Not that there won't be good WRs out of this class (I hope we got one of them), it's just that none are expected to be plug and play studs.

If I was a betting man, I'd bet very heavily on the OROY being either Bryce Young or Bijan Robinson.

You can’t help it can you, lol. Gotta get the last word in, but I’ll let you reply again and let you have the last word. It is funny that you complain in every thread about other people complaining and don’t see the irony.

for those of you who think that he is injury prone, I will say that our 5'10", 200 lb starting QB who was drafted first overall will have a longer career than our 6'5" 250 lb. starting QB who was drafted first overall.

Sure, some will call me a jinx and others will simply marvel at my ability to see the future--but i have spoken.

I  think you may be correct and this is a very interesting post.  But not sure if it matters. As I said many threads ago, if BY gets a paper cut looking through the playbook someone’s gonna say it’s because he’s not big enough to be an NFL player.  I have a feeling the narrative will follow him throughout his career.

    • That might balance out because apparently the Texans O-line is ass. He did manage to throw for almost 300 yards the last two weeks though.
    • Don't forget that Rhule actually took Tepper's offer to the Giants and they balked. He was just seeking the big payday which should have been a red flag. I have no idea how much time Tepper spends within the Panthers building. I do know that he in the past has been too much involved. He supposedly held weekly meetings with Reich. Then after firing Reich Tepper he held a press conference where he did virtually all the talking and made it about himself. Before that Tepper went out of his way to bloviate to the press about how he spoke to Bryce Young months before the draft and directly told him he wanted him to be a Panther. Then he went to the well of his selling point about Bryce being a point guard and we wouldn't need to invest in elite weapons. The guy thinks and talks like he knows what he's doing. At the end of the day the franchise has been in the gutter in large part due to he and his wife's involvement. It is what it is. Appreciate the convo.
    • Unlike most of you, I do not assume the FO thinks he is beyond repair.  For the first time since 2017 the Panthers have a chance to be in the playoffs. One more game will tie them for the most wins since 2018, 2 more wins will put them at 8 wins - the most in 8 years.  Hate all you want but a big part of that success has come from Bryce. He got them in the hole with Miami but he got them out of it as well and was a big part of that win. Against Dallas, he played very well throughout the game plus he converted on a 4th down in the final minutes putting them in FG range for the win. He may not have had a good game against the Packers but he did convert on two 3rd down conversions in the final minutes to help seal the win and of course the Falcons game was his best yet. Tepper likes him and they have a huge investment in him as well. You don't just throw that away unless you have something concrete lined up behind him - which I just don't see.
