Where are we watching games this season?

I'm going to assume Bally Sports goes under. When that happens, MLB, NHL, and NBA games are going to be a free for all.

I can see NBA going highest bidder, but MLB and NHL need to maximize profits AND reach, so where do we land? Amazon? YouTube? Apple TV?

I was wondering this as Bally is only on Direct TV for me. Would love to bin that.

I have been considering the VPN and ESPN+ option to be honest. fuging sucks it’s this difficult to watch your team when you live in the actual State they play in.

I’ll be watching from Germany. Literally fly out the day before the home opener :/. From what I understand, the NHL has a pretty neat streaming option for the EU. I’ll just VPN worst case scenario and Bally/ESPN+ via spoofing.

I have DirecTV, but I'm considering going to Hulu. Bally has a Bally+ app that will show all Canes games for $19.95 per month. I'll do that if I do go the Hulu route.

I used that this last season and enjoyed it. It has playback so if you miss a game, you can go back and watch later.

For a canes fan living in FL. my only option is ESPN+, they better offer the NHL package again or I'm screwed

Do you get Tripp and Mike on ESPN+? Is ESPN+ just a feed from Bally?

Yeah it’s just Bally’s feed and you can select the home or away broadcast. If it’s a national broadcast by Turner then it’s blocked out and you have to watch it on TNT though.

Sinclair fuged us all. I miss FSN regionals. Simpler times.

Digital media is the future. Bally failed because the business model being around betting was destined to fail. But a bigger corp like Google or Apple or Amazon that wants the sports market will absolutely take it over eventually.

I think ESPN+ is cheaper than Bally+ also. I paid for ESPN+ last season just to catch the national games not on DirecTV or Bally.

I do ESPN+ / VPN. Works like  a charm. ACC is putting their football slate on CW that would have gone to Bally--I wonder if NBA/NHL may follow suit

I did a free 7 day trial of apple just to watch a braves game lol. There was one series i liked, the silo. so i binge watched it. Other than that I thought the limited choices of shows (very little sports) sucked.
