Trade Dalton to Jets?

Why would they want Dalton? He did not exactly light it up the past couple years when he had opportunity. I think his value is as a tutor to Young and that's about it. I don't think Dalton has much left unfortunately. I wish he did but he has seemed like something isnt clicking with him when he plays anymore. Probably a great tutor for Bryce but that's probably as far as he goes from here on out. Besides, if I were the Jets I would want to see what Wilson can do once Rogers is good enough to at least start tutoring him some as he seemed very willing before his unfortunate injury. Mayne Rogers is the mentor Zach Wilson needs. If he can learn to run an offense as he has learned to bed Milfs, he should be fine.

The cap is a myth?  Why haven't the Chiefs paid Chris Jones and why did they let Hill go instead of extending him to keep him with Mahomes?

No idea if the Jets could work I but I hate the NO example. They paid their stars. We paid more for Teddy, Sam and Baker than they did for Brees. NO wasn’t magical, they just didn’t throw money away like us. We’ve used up our cap the past 3 years and we’ve signed no one great.

Dalton's 2022 stats:  67% completion percentage, 2,900 yards, 18 TD's, 9 INT's.  Not a pro bowler, but a heck of a lot better than Wilson.

Damn, was he that good? Maybe I didnt give him enough credit. I do think however Wilson still stands a chance however small of developing especially with Rogers helping him if he is a good listener and hard enough worker. I dont think his days are numbered just yet and I think he still has some potential left in him

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
