For non-Texans fans: How will you react when this team goes 0-17?

Also, Tepper wanted Reich and Young. That isn't on Fitterer and the next GM we hire would be in the same exact position of working for wannabe Jerry Jones.

I want to say you’re wrong but you just aren’t.  We are fuged with Dave and Nicole as long as they keep meddling.

So being someone who wanted CJ Stroud and for us to keep Wilks makes us Texans and 49er's fans? Jesus man, what a leap in logic.

This really is a microcosm of society today. If you're not this, then you're that. I'm not a fan of Bryce Young, I wanted to draft Stroud and lament the success he is having, therefor I am a Texans fan? The most illogical conclusion I've seen here in a long time and it's honestly far worse to have your perspective than it is to say that Stroud looks like he could win OROY.

Time for you to reevaluate your critical thinking skills.

You also said if Young’s OL holds over Stroud’s he would be racing Bijan for OROTY. So you have not have been too down on Young.

Dang dude, that’s a lot of text. I’m happy for you, or sorry that it happened.

Absolving the coach of blame? Not shocked

btw if Dalton started all the games, we’d go 0-17. But if Richardson or Stroud started all the games…

we’d still go 0-17. Check the second half scores made vs what’s been allowed (wasn’t pretty in Week 3)

First, I never said anything about the coach and absolving him of blame

Second, no, we don't go 0-17 if Dalton started all the games as I think he would have beaten both the Falcons and Saints if he played the same way he did against the Seahawks.

After that trade, if the QB we traded away all those picks and DJ away for, lead us to an 0-17 season, it would be considered the worst season in the history of professional sports.

It literally couldn’t be worse, first team to ever go 0-17 and gave away the #1 pick in a draft with a generational talent coming out.

A feat that could only be achieved by the Panthers

You claim people who have been Panthers fans longer than you've been alive are Texans fans, and expect no response? If you are an adequate sample of Gen Z, I need to not only get out of Panthers Fandom but possibly this country.

Dalton's so good he's the only QB to lose to the Panthers this year. What he did against the Seahawks was enough to lose by 10, which when Bryce does that, means he sucks. Dalton wasn't bad at all. We got Good Dalton in that game for sure, but there's also the back-to-back pick-six Dalton who also exists at this point in his career.

1. We have the wrong scheme. We went back to the fundamentals last year which made our offensive line a Top 13 or so group in the league and helped Darnold play like a Top 10 QB outside of the last game.

2. We traded away both of our best offensive players in CMC and Moore

3. I think we hired the wrong Head Coach. Wilks could've brought all these same guys in without the requirement that he call plays and he is an excellent defensive mind with true leadership ability.

Young would probably be good on a team with a solid core and a solid system but we have neither.

I would understand that it's taking a step backwards so you can actually move forward.

I would be greatly disappointed in a losing season but look at what that actually gives us, which would be a top 2nd round pick.

Yes, other players we traded are looking good right now but we had them without a solid QB for 4 years and look how that turned out.

I would realize that if we had stayed the course with Wilks / Dalton (or whatever FA JAG they found) we would not have gone 0-17 and had the chance to "miss out" on Caleb or Drake.  It's only by a combination of numerous factors that happened because we traded up and changed everything from players to coaching to scheme that we find ourselves 0-4.

We could have not traded up for Bryce and stayed at 9 and even kept CMC.  Then we add, Levis or Carter and sign Andy Dalton.  All that does it continue to live in the middle being an 8 or 9 win team with no real chance to get past that.

Tepper has thought from the start and it's something I agree with that if you don't have a franchise QB, then nothing else matters.  Ever thing he's done since he bought the team was to walk a line between finding a franchise QB and being patient enough to see if the latest plan produced that.

We have the foundation to build towards something now and not put a band-aid on it every year.  Now, we have a chance that in 2 years we can compete for a SB year in and year out.  Bucs are not going deep in the playoffs with Baker, Saints are not going deep in the playoffs with Carr, Falcons are not going deep in the playoffs with Ridder.  In 2 years all of those teams will be in the same position of still needing a franchise QB.  They'll be good enough to win enough games to not be able to draft a legit top QB in the draft.

Meanwhile, the Panthers will have added to a solid foundation with loads of potential in Bryce Young.

Don't get me wrong.  I hate we are losing but I'd rather be 0-4 with Bryce's potential as a franchise QB than 2-2 with Andy Dalton.
