He does not stand a chance with this offense. It’s the most predictable in the league. Zero run game, horrible O line, and a 33 year old white WR as your number one (and only) threat to make any progress on the field. Bryce has looked bad but we are in the worst position imaginable for any QB, much less a rookie.

That's why they're pick sixes. It's usually not the downfield passes that go back for six. It's the checkdowns that the defender catches on the run already heading toward his endzone.

Safeties and corners are going to break on every throw because we cant throw it deep. There is no reason to be worried about throws going over the top.

A lot of it happens because the ball has no velocity so defenders are stopped or running at our endzone where our receivers are still running the other way and it gets jumped.

I just meant in general. These numbers are getting pretty ugly given the amount of short passes he’s attempting

This one was just a hell of a play by that CB. He has 4 this year. The problem was Young missed Tremble with no one covering him. You have to take advantage of blown coverage like that.

Yeah hate to break it to you but Young is definitely a bust. A #1 overall QB doesnt play nearly close like this and at least shows something. Young has shown absolutely nothing and its only worse given what we gave up to get him.

And as a guy who had always been critical of Jameis as a pro, he also countered that with plenty of TDs to his own receivers.  I think the running joke that season was from Arians about you never know if it's gonna be a TD to one team or the other on any given Jameis throw...  but Jameis could and has still won games with his arm - which you expect from a franchise QB.  Bryce is not capable of countering his mistakes bc he needs his supporting cast to make the plays for him bc he can't make them himself.

It was a hell of a play, but it's also not possible if that throw has any level of zip on it.  Can't jump it if it doesn't float to the outside or is placed to the outside shoulder and up.  It just died.  His arm is weak.
