Jerry Jones light

If anyone is expecting Tepper to be contrite in the Tuesday press conference, forget it. Just like the Dallas demigod, he is holding the purse strings and does what he wants. No explanation required.

Unless he is caught grabbing ass somewhere, he isn't going anywhere. Jerry doesn't give a rats ass what fans think or say, either does Tepper.

Only person he listens to, is the wifey.

Jerry Jones has three Lombardi Trophies in his cabinet.

Jones is definitely a meddler, but he and Tepper are on two totally separate planes of existence.

And all three of those trophies are brought to you courtesy of one of the greatest coaches and talent evaluators of the modern football era - Jimmy Johnson.  At the point those were won, Jones was just riding JJ's coattails to glory.

Switzer took Johnson's team and got them to one more championship, but the roster was deteriorating.  It still hasn't recovered.

The only thing separating Jones and Tepper are 33 years of experience.

Also by the lack of a salary cap and a really dumb Vikings GM...

So Jones hired one of the best coaches of all time?...Dang! I wish Tepper was that good at finding coaching talent.

You obviously don’t remember why Jimmy Johnson left Dallas:

Because Jerry Jones was meddling and controlling draft evaluation and picks and Johnson wanted 100% control.

So the historical FACTS surrounding Johnson’s departure from Dallas belie your stated opinion above.  Jerry Jones (right or wrong) was INTIMATELY involved in the draft evaluation and picking process in those years and Jimmy Johnson resented it thus causing their inevitable divorce.

You need to go watch the Jimmy Johnson documentary for "A Football Life".  Jerry wasn't involved until after the dynasty had been built.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
