BREAKING!!: Panthers will go after Ben Johnson

Ben already turned down easy money last year to go back to being an OC. Tepper will get someone but this looks more like a wish. Guy has the pick of the litter and if he is half as smart as he looks then he will use Tepper's offer to seal a better deal with a team that let's him do his vision vs Tepper's mess. Seems like a real longshot.

While we are at it how about Calvin Johnson, Magic Johnson, Dwayne Johnson, and Lyndon Johnson take an interview too and see what happens? It really is good to turn over all stones. I'm even open to my own Johnson interviewing if I can get my zipper to work properly..............

Tepper will give Johnson the opportunity to come back home (he's from Charleston, SC played QB at UNC) he will also give him  blank check, full 7 year guaranteed contract, the opportunity to pick his GM, he will also offer Nicole Tepper as a personal sex toy

You had me at sex toy. Where do I sign if im him.

I doubt he even takes a meeting with us lol

Tepper has ruined his image. You got people in the Nat'l media calling him the worst owner in the NFL now that Snyder is gone. We have the 2nd worst record in the NFL only behind the Jets since he took over as owner.

This is the type of stuff we are dealing with. Ben Johnson is not coming here there are better jobs available.

    • The problem with all those scenarios is typically that you don't find out the player is a problem child until too late. The team trading him to you has zero reason to be honest about that. Even his teammates are likely to be fairly tight lipped unless it is off the record or it has now become widely known how bad the player's attitude/issues are. Think about Brown specifically. He wasn't widely/publicly known as a nutbag until late in his career, although ample evidence existed prior to that point.  It makes sense. Like a teammate or not, it's not wise to be out there blabbering about locker room issues in front of the public. Not a way to endear yourself to current or future teammates.
    • I don’t remember what I said this year. I had us winning 6 last year. I was optimistic a little.  I probably said 6 or 7. Wasn’t feeling optimistic so much this year.
    • I mean if you look at Bryce’s stats before last week, he was ranked damn near the bottom of the league in every category so you can’t fault people for thinking anything positive is bogus. I’ve heard several analyst say they don’t know how to rank the panthers because we are a confusing team. One week we look like complete dog poo the next we win 30-0. Sure we beat a horrible jets team, but what was it, 13-6 or something like that? Beat the pack, but how good are they? They lost to us and the Browns and tied with Dallas, are they frauds? Would we have beat the bills with Bryce, I doubt it. Barely beat a 3-5 falcons team in OT and those seem to be Bryce’s best games. To me, the jury is still out and I’m optimistic, we beat SF and Bryce plays will il start to really believe.
