If it is as bad as it looks and is starting to sound then more will keep droping lose. I think today's game plays a part in that. The Teppers made a big move earlier this week and whatever happens is going to shift responsibilities onto the new crew.

 

I can't believe they flexed this ass game to 4pm lol. It's on in NY although I'm sure everyone will be watching 49ers-Eagles.

Tepper has already shown it's going to take that and so much more. I expect a hiring cycle where he doesn't get what he wants will be another step in that direction but it's going to be a brutal path to ever get to that point. If they play that bad then he can just blame one side and I'm betting it will be the coaches again.

I got free tickets when I came down to see friends. I wish I was you who had an excuse to not to have to watch this game. They flexed smartly for sure

Yeah whoever takes this HC job is going to do it solely based on money. I really doubt any young and upcoming coach is willing to risk ruining their careers over appeasing/entertaining Teppers football ideas. Didn't Tepper have Rivera switch to a 3-4 defense? lol. Been meddling the whole time

Couldn't really let Brown go, wouldn't have had enough staff on offense. So he got to stay. 

Reich was fired because the team was 1-10 and did not show any signs of improvement over 11 games.  At no time did we go max protect, we'd go empty back sets on critical downs and our scheme just wasn't working.  Sometimes players produced in spite of it.  How about Deuce explaining why his back is running the wrong route and almost interfered with a 4th down catch by Theilen?  There is a lot of bad coaching all around and none of it looked in sync.  That's a head coach's responsibility.  instead, he was worred about play calling.

His first year when he was mostly 'hands off' lol.

Yeah it's going to be for a lot of money but he is also not going to get a Ben Johnson. Petters walked and so would Ben is my guess. How much rejection and how far from his desired outcome is the questions there for me. It is going to take a lot to crack that ego IMO.

That's the sad part is if we sat Bryce all season brought him along slowly, all we had to be was a mediocre football team to win this horrible NFC South, possibly even with a losing record.

The "sharks" that Jonathan Jones was referring to aren't likely to be young, up and coming coaches.
