Basically running an NFL franchise like an NFL fan would...

I already thought it was bad, but damn 😳

Most of us would run it better. If an assistant coach came to me like that, I would shut it down and report it to the HC. That’s terrible culture building.

Most of us would make mistakes, but it wouldn’t be this bad. This level of bad comes from huge ego and immaturity.

...which comes from thinking you're the smartest guy in the room and nobody can challenge you.

Said previously the "talking to too many people" thing makes it seem like Tepper believes he knows what he's doing and maybe just needs occasional advice from people to confirm his thinking. This goes even further and makes it sound like he gets ideas from articles or videos he sees online.

Lord almighty 😩

Yeah, this article doesn't help the perception of Bryce Young at all.

I was on the "bryce young is a bust" train about 3ish weeks ago and this lines up with that.  Not understanding an offense, along with his shitty mechanics(which he has always had) coupled with his slight frame and poo arm is just a recipe for starting completely over.

I thought I’d seen down times over the course of ~30 years as a Panthers fan. The Tepper regime has shown me that I knew nothing about the depths of fan despair. Tepp may kill this franchise if things don’t change.

Similar feelings...and I was here through both 2001 and 2010.

So Young’s footwork is an issue and no one decided to bring this up in the pre draft process. Tepper was picking Young and doesn’t know a damn thing about footwork

Meanwhile CJ has maybe the cleanest and smoothest drop back in the league and did so in college too.

Weird how something like that translates smh

    • lmao that's a good point; but at the same time I think and HOPE Canales learned from how he operated last year, only giving us one real look against the Bills that had people shouting 'Super Bowl'...only to come out flat.
    • I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.
    • I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
