San Diego. Probably Delhomme's last good game that reminded you of the guy he was in 03.

Monday Night (or Thursday?) vs Buccaneers at home. I went to that game and it was incredible to see Stewart and Williams just completely destroy a defense like that. I think at that time Stew and DWill were top 5 RB talents on their own. Smitty had a great game too.

That last second touchdown in SD was an unbelievable moment.

The SD game stuck out. Nationally, we weren't expected to do much that year, and the Chargers had some hype behind them. So Fox had his favorite scenario in place, being an over-looked and under-estimated road dog. Good game to watch.

No Steve Smith either.  That's after the team suspended him for his sucker punch on Ken Lucas.

i only started following football in 2017, so forgive my ignorance but if Delhomme wasn’t the same with his arm how did we still win 12 games? were we that dominant?

Delhomme was good the first half of the year. The second half of the year, you could start to see some cracks - the four-pick Raiders game, for example - but he was still good enough to win, and often win by a lot, because we had the best running game in team history + a great, great defense and the last great WR duo we've had (Smith and Moose).

If he wasn't hurt, and was playing at 2007 levels, we maybe win a Super Bowl with the 2008 roster. But by the playoff game his arm was just shot. I really think the 2008 team was the second-best we've ever had (behind 2015), though.

San Diego game for me. I was living there at the time and just remembered how cocky the fans and local broadcasters were during that game. So beating them in SD was so sweet for me. I went and bought the sports paper the next day and the cashier was disgusted when she scanned it for me.

I posted it again when the Panthers came back in 2012 to beat them again haha.
