Doubling down on Young. I don't like it. We NEED Young insurance.

Sure. Sounds like a winning idea but we will not do that. Watch.

They are all in on this QB. Funny that as an investment banker Tepper is making a classic investor blunder in doubling down on a bad bet. But, I guess Young is just a "distressed asset."

Too bad we aren’t getting any bailouts.

Idk yet, still new to me so I cannot automatically assume one way or another what they will do.  I won't be surprised if it doesn't happen... like drafting legit TE help over the past 3 seasons.

Dave Canales was able to get Baker to put up 4000 yards and 28td's to 10 int's. If he doesn't think Bryce has the ability to run the offense he wants to run, then I'd be all for going and getting Sam Howell from the Commanders.

As much as the fanbase would hate it... I don't hate this idea as much.

I'm still a Bryce guy but Sam Howell is an absolutely perfect fit for the offense that Canales ran in Tampa this year. Dude throw's a great deep ball but he needs to control some of his erratic play and taking so many sacks but to be fair the Commanders had an awful Oline last year.

Other than a cheap vet FA or a very late round flyer or UDFA, no more QBs this year. No trades. No attempt at a top shelf FA. No day 1 or 2 draft picks.

Intention should absolutely be to see if we can get something (performance-wise) out of this pick that we fuggin paid so much for with a new coaching staff.

Then next year see what, if anything, can be done to get another one.

But we are at the beginning of a several year process to make us really competitive. We roll with who we've got this year and focus coaching on Bryce and building up the parts around him.

Nope. If he shitts the bed in 2024, you go QB in the next draft. If he is bad again, the draft pick will be top ten. Teams needs Oline, WR, Edge rusher in draft and FA.

Deep WR draft so I'm confident on being able to build that room, OL is shaky to me so far you have really good guys and then a chasm and then alright guys. Hopefully the Senior Bowl can alleviate some of the worry there. Should be some later round Edge guys that are decent.  Unlikely to spend the entire draft and FA periods on those 3 positions though.  Should evaluate from top to bottom and chip away.  if QB ends up one of the places they address later in the process then so be it.

Then we wait 2 years and take advantage of other options until then. Hopefully we won't need to do that.

Just imagine the 2026 draft the panthers have the 1st overall pick and Bryce is a confirmed bust and the Manning family tells Tepper to kick rocks and that Arch will not play for him. Just imagine the huddle melt down🤣

I'd call their bluff and draft him anways. "Make his preferred team trade for him."

    • Just going off the draft sims and he's always sitting around 20 lol. First year in a while where we haven't been thinking about the draft already in late October so haven't really looked into the top 15-20 picks yet. Also the qb class is super weak so he probably will sneak up into 10-15
    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
