Canales and Morgan at the combine

Look, this historically small QB with literally a high school quality arm (analysis not insult, I could have said high school JV), isn't square and he isn’t round. He isn’t even really an NFL peg  in the fist place but they didn’t care.

Because, if you follow then you know that in typical Tepper logic land, the thing to do is obviously to reshape the hole.

I am mostly reflecting back to last year. This is where things completely went to poo. Fitterer starts meeting with Poles to negotiate the fleecing.

The scene of the crime. This is where someone put the roofie in Fitterer’s drink.

Interesting note towards the end of that video. He says the offense didn't really click until mid season in Tampa. One of bigger reasons being that they were splitting reps all camp and only started truly crafting the offense to Bakers strengths once he clearly won the job. Hopefully being able to hit the ground running the Bryce and not waste and time/snaps with him will pay off.

I remember the days when playing under center was the norm and shotgun was unusual.

I think it would be a dramatic change for Young but they need to drill this over and over until it he's comfortable.

yeah i think Bryce Young will always be uncomfortable playing under center in the NFL due to his size affecting his vision in the pocket...just saying

    • OK, fair enough--however, since my point was that drafting a QB in the top 10 is stupid, if you consider the players who were not drafted in the top 10 or those who WERE drafted in the top 10 and did not secure starting positions with the team that drafted them, you should see the point.  Is it smart to draft a QB in the top 10 when only 4 are still starting for the team that drafted them.  Next, consider that half of that number, 2, were drafted outside the first round.  Next, there are 4 (Goff, Mayfield, Jones, and Darnold) who are starting on other teams after busting.   That number could increase as Arizona seems ready to move on from Murray, Miami is not sold on Tua, and jacksonville is still waiting for Trevor to start looking elite.  Bryce?   So to answer your question, there are MANY more QBs in the NFL who have busted and become starters on other rosters, were drafted after day 1, or are still on the cusp than the four who have become elite.  I thought that point was made.
    • I’m more upset that we are changing uniforms in the middle of this road win streak. We have won our last 3 road games in Silver Helmets, White Jerseys, and Blue Pants. We are supposedly wearing Black Helmets, White Jerseys, Black Pants this week… I am a superstitious person
    • He did so well they are moving him to RB, Legette to QB, and Moton to TE…. Interesting. Coker might struggle at LT https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-release-depth-chart-ahead-of-week-12-for-the-2025-season
