Who is your day 3 Qb?

Recommended Posts

Spencer Rattler. Currently projected as a day-2 QB, but I think he will fall into day-3. I don't think there are too many teams taking a QB on day-2. Which is why I think he will be day-3 as teams are looking for depth.

Spencer Rattler. That's an easy pick for me. Not an SC fan but man, put any other QB on that squad and they'd do half of what he was able to get out of it. They were horrendous around him.

This is hard to believe, but Rattler’s o-line was actually worse than Bryce’s o-line last year. He literally had to start running around as soon as the ball was snapped. He showed me a lot, I would take him.

Seems like he grew up too. None of that Oklahoma stuff carried over to Carolina. He was a vocal leader for them.

The developmental QB is an outdated thing from the 80s and 90s.

In todays game you can either play or you can’t.  Teams aren’t drafting QBs and letting them develop for years like baseball pitchers.

A 3rd day QB pick is just a lottery ticket.  The odds that were in week 15 and Bryce is either hurt or a flop is significant.  I could easily see the staff wanting to see what they have in a day 3 QB in that situation.

They also sort of figured out the truth, you either figure it out or you don't. Especially in the modern NFL specifically catering to passing offenses.
