Still havent gotten feedback on what he would be worth in a trade right now.

We wouldn’t get anywhere close to the value we spent. We have to ride him and build around him the best we can. We’ll know what we have after this season, he’ll either sink or float and while some may say it too early to say that but If he can’t conduct the train what good is he? Bryce isn’t the train, he’s a conductor and what good is a crappy conductor?

I'd be surprised if he didn't go to the Jets at 10. They need OL but a better weapon for Rogers is sexier.

I think the Rams want him and they are going to be bold about it.   Popcorn needs to be ready--Chicago at #9 (Rams Bears trade)?

I hope the first round is as chaotic as it’s shaping up to be

I'd say its a fair statement to say they may tie the all-time trades of 11 or was is it 12. There's a CB and OL run incoming and that mixed with the fight over penix or JJ...It could get messy fast.

There's no TEs, DL, LBs, OL, or CBs compared to other groups. If a run starts on OT, some team will trade up.

Moving up would certainly cost us a first round pick next year.  That would be foolish.

lol moving up from 33 to 30 or 31 would not cost anywhere near a first round pick next year. I'm not advocating for it at all, I prefer we pick at 33 then trade down from our other 2nd rounder. But it absolutely would not cost a future 1st to move up a few spots, even with the 5th year option aspect of a potential trade.

    • Nfl leaders don't look at the population of just the city itself.  Charlotte has three of the top fifty combined statistical areas within a 1 to 1.5 hour drive.  Charlotte, Greensboro/WS/High Point, and Greenville Spartanburg.  Those three statistical areas include nearly 7 million people.  Other than Raleigh, the only one in the top fifty within an hour and half of raleigh is Greensboro.  So only about 4-5 million people.  Charlotte has many more people to draw from.   Also, many of the surrounding communities for Raleigh are not native born.  If memory serves, many still refer to Cary as Containment area for relocated Yankees.  One of the reasons the Canes do so well is a significant portion of the population are people who moved from Northern Areas.  Would that population translate into support for a NFL team?  Hard to say, but I see a tremendous amount of Giants/Jets jerseys in the triangle when I forced to endure the crazy traffic on 40/85.
    • This will also be prime Training Camp meltdown time on here lol. Preseason game 1 August 8th, i'm guessing camp starts around July 25-27th
