Yes--part of it is probably the mental clock (2.7 seconds).  He seemed to have a sense of urgency more than panic.  The more he learns the offense and the WRs, the better he is going to be.

Of course, and this is along with Frank's points--this was one drive vs. reserves. Can we get this for a whole game?  a whole season?  Hope is a powerful emotion--and we have been so thirsty for it--we will take this for what it is and what it might mean.

Imagine if we can get this running game going our coach is insisting on. Throw in come PA rollouts and the defense could be on skates. I like seeing some actual vision on offense. Hopefully it can come to life.

That’s it Bryce will only have to read half the field. When Brooks is 100% he’s gonna be a stud behind these new big guards and taking check downs

I got the impression that was intentional to an extent.  The coach probably telling him to get the ball out quick or get out quick.

Most of us are feeling pretty good.  A good preseason performance and everyone's throwing memes around and having a good time.  Then the "real fans" have to come in and spout some divisive crap.  It's just so tiresome.

I was kind of thinking he made a decent leap today in progress.  I still might prefer a higher ceiling QB3 if one becomes available...  PS shouldn't be a problem though.

      Bet didn't hit because the referee missed 3 clear corner kicks. I had a 5k parlay that would have been alive tomorrow if he didn't miss those calls as well. Super annoying

      I don't think it's at all a given that we have players who are good at driving the basket. I guess that depends on your definition. Bridges is 43rd in attempts in the paint Miller is 64th and LaMelo is 66th. We all love to see the lob threat but it's largely miniscule at this point in time. There's gotta be a solution here if LaMelo is to be the centerpiece because this is simply not sustainable if we want to continue to ascend. If he can't drive to the basket then that means we need to add another player to the core who consistently can. That would require moving someone like Miles Bridges. And that's certainly not going to be popular with LaMelo but something has to give here for what we are investing and we need to maximize guys like Miller and Knueppel on rookie deals while we still can. The three chucking is fine when it's working where the issue comes into play is there are no adjustments when it isn't and we just go into a shell and begin to look like the Hornets of yesteryear. That's why the offensive evolution of all involved is critical to us taking the next step. Getting to the play in is nice but we should have our sights set much higher. Right now though they need to take care of business against the Heat. All I ask is that they at least beat those fools. I cannot stand the Heat.
