Ewers might put up the numbers but he plays in a much tougher conference so the wins might not be there at the end of the season.

Being in the ACC is a pretty big hurdle in itself though.  Weak ACC wins have never been the sneaky path to a Heisman.  

ACC going to lose out to a better conference and stats every time pending they win enough to be relevant

Don''t want Arch Manning unless he really shows a lot.  

I saw a Mock Draft the other day that had us taking Cam Ward.  Not sure if it would be Ward, but unless something dramatic happens with Young, there is little doubt imo that we will take a qb.  With the money we spent on the oline and the moves we made with the WR's, the team is going to want a qb that can actually take advantage of them.

      Bryce Young is a problem — what would you do if you were Dan Morgan?

      I'd give Bryce until the trade deadline to prove he's the answer and if he's not I'm dumping him for whatever pick we can get and I'm riding with Dalton the rest of the way.  2 and a half years is enough time to determine if he can be the QB going forward so for Bryce he needs to come out over the next couple of weeks and show that. The other players in the locker room don't wanna waste another year of their careers waiting to see if you'll ever figure it out.  If you took a poll of the players in the locker room I'm sure they'd rather lose with a respected veteran Dalton who at least gives them some creditability versus losing with Bryce who the entire media will say was let down by his supporting cast when in reality it's Bryce's physical limitations that are holding this team back.

      I agree that he should’ve never been the pick at 1. In my 44 years I’ve never seen a team invest that much in a QB who is my size. I’m not meant for the NFL and neither is he.    Accepting we can’t change the past, I think it’s the correct call to keep playing him hoping that he will prove us wrong. I think we were dumb not to draft a QB this past year and let him learn and compete but that’s our reality.    I’m hoping this is the last year with the BY experiment and he deliverers us 1. To the playoffs or 2. The number one pick and we draft a real QB.

      In his first interview after the surgery he sounded absolutely miserable.  Man that must beat you down to have that done
