That's the same thing as when we fired Rhule and I said it was a mistake to do it at the time, because it only would improve the team.

We're not contending this year, just take our lumps and get a good draft pick.  No point in playing Dalton so we can be a 6-11 team and end up in no man's land in the draft where we won't get a truly elite prospect.

Bryce needs to be our starter for the full season and possibly even next year as well since this is a weak QB class.  Draft a non QB elite prospect, spend another year building up young talent, suck again next year with Bryce and then draft someone like Arch Manning with the 1st pick in 2026.

Yep. Roll with Young to the 1st pick unless he pulls a Collins and quits.

Yeah but another 2-15 season and good luck getting any FA to sign here. You’ll have nothing but rookies that are disappointed they were drafted by us. Besides, leaving Bryce in limits the offense and the development of people like Legette, Sanders, Mingo because the offense is limited. Change the QB and give the guys something to play for.

Lol can't make this up. 3rd and 19 so let's draw a PI to let them move the chains. You know what, the D gets a pass as PeeWee can't keep the saints offense off the field. At some point if that little crook gets to keep screwing up and playing, they are all going to say fug it cause they won't do anything to PeeWee.

    • Thanks for sharing.  I haven’t gotten all the way through but it seems very in depth. I don’t know much about this guy but like the fact that he is high on the panthers and optimistic but did not let that really play into his rankings.  I think 28 is a good stake in the ground. I would question the credibility of anyone ranking this team higher than 24/25.
    • I feel like we had more issues back then, though.  Whether you like the regime or the plan, they do seem to have a plan.  Revamping the team group by group and building something.  I am admittedly overly optimistic when it comes to the Panthers.
    • Coker is a 6-3 215 possession WR at this point.  He had a near 70% catch rate and was really good in contested catches situations.   He is pretty sound fundamentally, and he seems to be very intelligent and self disciplined.  As the fourth WR, he will get his opportunities and I see him more of an AT II if XL and TMac develop as expected.  BEHIND him (at the moment) we have Renfrow, Horn, and Moore.  The bottom line is this:  WR depth is usually based on the confidence the QB has in you.  When the game is on the line, the QB will find the guys he trusts.  For example, Mingo and Marshall did not get many balls--you could say they were not getting open, but it could also be they had not earned the love.
