I think running the ball and keeping Burrow off the field is key.

If we do that I think we have a good chance to win

Otherwise, Burrow will expose our lack of pass rush with his weapons

I feel like we're gonna need a 30 burger from Andy and the offense.  The Bengals will score points.  Look what happened on MNF against Washington.

Yeah we will need 30+ points I agree. Given what we did to the Raiders D and how bad the Bungles D has looked, I foresee a shootout. Panthers win 38-34.

Instead of gambling on the game, attending the game, or spending a ton of money to watch the game, why not give to those in the region that got hit hard by the recent storm?

We've never seen him play.  His PFF grades are between 50-60.  All indications are he is a JAG.

fair but I think he could be a player on the rise, Minn had him covering a lot last year would love to see him in primarily a pass rushing role

Thank you for mentioning this. My son is currently a student at Montreat College in Black Mountain, which is by Asheville. Their campus pretty much got decimated. Right now they are basically on an island with no power and no water, there’s no way to get to them right now because Large chunks of the road got washed away, there is a lake on campus called Lake Susan, the damn broke and got to the first floor of the dorms and destroyed their gym. Then not too far away Lake Lure over flooded. He parked 10 minutes away from campus and I’m pretty sure his car is gone too. But at least they’re all surviving and eating what they can. But like you said, it’s important to remember those that lost a lot this week. Thanks again.

Hopefully your son and the rest will be alright.

Yep I don’t see how we stop them. This might be similar to the game in Cincy 2 years ago.

Or the game against Pittsburgh that year when we finally had a little excitement again and we just couldn’t seem to ever get a stop

    • The teams this 2nd year player (can’t really blame the years before he was drafted on him) was playing were going 100% as most do most weeks in the NFL. The whole argument is about his play during that period and how well was he actually playing. I’m with you on the winning though. Just start winning and fans will get excited. Start getting in the playoffs and winning and we won’t care how his PFF or box score stats look. 200 yards a game to 400 yards a game, start scoring and winning playoffs games and 99% of fans will buy in.
    • Yeah, we are gonna be raw.  Wonnum, for the past 3 years, has been averaging 8 sacks a season (4 in one season when he missed half a season).  I am OK, but yes, they will be thrown to the fire.
    • I like this because it means one or both of the rookies will be thrust into a bigger role right away and we can see what they might be. I don't like this because it just makes our team that much younger and inexperienced.  You need vets to help the young guys learn, I just hope we aren't going too far in the opposite direction.  All our FA signings were guys just coming off their rookie deals too, I get why we're doing it, but having the savvy vets help in other ways too.
