I can't throw the towel in on Williams just because he is only 4 games into his career. I do think he would be better served being behind a vet for at least a season like Maye is.

It's just a devil you know versus devil you don't argument with Fields and Williams.

He isn't the kind to sit behind someone. He is a legend in his own mind. That guy is who the Cam haters saw in Cam without the positives. I wanted to give him a chance because of Cam and that angle but he is a giant douche.

I don't really see him the same way nor do I see his perceived ego issues as being as detrimental as most. Plenty of these guys are nutters, it only matters when you can't play. That part is TBD.

Sam Darnold is gonna lead the Vikings to the SB. Open your eyes he's the best QB in the NFC.

I will not tolerate any Sam Darnold slander.

You said he was gonna take Brock Purdy's job last year and win the Super Bowl MVP.

He definitely puts off that vibe. Not sure if that's the reality or not.

NFC South

Dalton 36

Mayfield 29

Carr 33

Cousins 36

That is wild. Over 120 years combined. The Souths reclamation project is going well.

They all feel like the same QB just different features.....

I notice when looking up daltons impressive career stats, fuging carr is right next to him on many. They are going to change the HOF QB rules, cause I already want to put Ryan Fitzpatrick in the hall.... if that is true and it is, I will be putting many more QBs than others believe belong.

With the NFL being geared towards passing the ball, you cant just look at stats.

With QBs it has to be about all pros, mvps, super bowl mvps, not garbage time stats.

Moore dodged a bullet.

Did he?  I mean going from us to Chicago doesn't exactly appear to be much of an upgrade.  Williams had a decent game last week, and might eventually work out, but if he doesn't, Moore will continue his history of playing for teams that have terrible passing attacks.

Maybe he will get lucky and Chicago will trade him to a team with a legit attack if they aren't in contention this year.

Moore has 1000 yard seasons in bad situations. His team also won 7 games last year and more than us last year already this year. Williams isn't it IMO but he can throw it even if his deep stuff is bad. He also got an extension from the trade. So it might not be KC but it wasn't here. Maybe that changes and maybe it doesn't but right now he dodged a bullet.

Fwiw, I think he went from a rock to a hard place, but to each his own.

The bears have sucked ass just as bad as we have, dont act like they are some great organization. They have one season with double digit wins since 2013.

Their new shiny QB looks like Bryce Young with athletic ability.

    • I don't see the need to move on from RBs.... I didn't say he was a bum.   I said most knowledgeable people are flat out taking the DUO of RBs that have generated a top 10 rush team over the season.....over Kamara in his worst season of his career (leading a league worst attack).....if asked which team is giving their QB better skill players in the backfield this season.   It's amazing what Bryce defense will do.  Got you in here essentially making wilds claim about run games/RB talent in 2025.  Pooping on a top 10 rush attack that is the foundation of this team to prop up a league worst rush attack.
    • I'm not relying on rushing yards per game.  Which is why I presented you with a host of different offensive production and efficiency stats.   You said there was only one.  I shared several. You just cherry picked one of the many shared out.    and you are still intentionally distorting the most basic facts like wins/losses lol.  the only gassing up being done here is about Bryce.  Most of the thread is talking about Shough(our next opponent) in very normal terms.
    • Kamara is certainly later in his career but he's not exactly chopped liver. Again, outside this fanbase i doubt he'd lose that contest. As far as other comparisons: I'd put Tet McMillan equal with Chris Olave, though I think McMillan might be hitting a bit of a rookie wall. Others may say McMillan is promising but not to that level just yet. Damian Lewis is equal to or better than Dillon Radunz and Ickey is better than Kelvin Banks, though Banks even as a rookie ain't bad. The left side of our OL wins, but not in a blowout. On the other side, if he were fully healthy I could argue Taylor Moton over Taliese Fuaga but I don't think he is. The Saints likely take that one for now at least, and probably in the future since Fuaga is younger. Jalen Coker is getting back to form. Putting him over Dante Perris right now is probably a bit of a stretch but he's still doing well. So this far, fairly comparable / even. But here's where it starts to get bad... Whoever's starting at center this week vs Luke Fortner? Eeehhh, no. Right guard of the week against Cesar Ruiz? Uh uh. Any of our TEs vs Juwan Johnson? Don't think so. Xavier Legette over anybody at all? Oy 😖 So yeah, overall at this point Shough has a better supporting cast around him. Once Hunt and others are healthy again it becomes a better argument, but as mentioned the league isn't willing to postpone things so we can be at our best.
