Panthers signed CB Brian Witherspoon, formerly of the Lions.

Witherspoon was waived earlier in the day. In Carolina, he'll compete for playing time in the dime package and possibly help on returns. The 25-year-old from Stillman has experience returning both kickoffs and punts.

as in.....he will never see the field or be horrible. Seriously, whoever is trying to find a return man.....really sucks at his job.

wow, the dude is actually a pretty decent returner. he's really fast as well. 4.29 40 but there is video of him running it in 4.16 out there.

in 2 years at jaxville he was 23.9 avg on kick returns and 11.3 on punt returns compared to our paltry 19.9KRs and 8.3 last year and the 22.9/10.8 the previosu year.

yeah...we've been needing this.
