I think the difference is that Bryce expected this vets to bail him out and make a play, now hes throwing to rookies and its on him to make a play.  hes the vet.

I don't think it matters too much. If he is around averagish or a little worse, we can still build a team through the draft and FA. I just don't want to see us invest in a second Bryce contract in that scenario.

That's the problem. Average starter get PAID and then that cap noose dooms your team. Look at our opponent for a great example.
