They're 9-1 and not in the home stretch yet, and it's all about peaking at the right time. I'd be a little more patient. We are a get well game to a good team.

Yeah they seem to become a different team in the playoffs. Like they were also “weak” last year and pretty much dominated through the entire playoffs.
Bills seem to be able to beat them during the season but not the playoffs.

The Chiefs are STOUT against the run. I don't know how we move the ball. They're going to key on Chuba and dare Bryce to hear them with his arm.

I would not be surprised if we come out and score on our first drive, if we get the ball first, giving the fans just a little bit of hope before it all falls apart.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Bryce is picked on his first throw again. He is abut due.

Maybe not I just think he is going to have a little harder game than he has been having.

The Pats used to act like that too sometimes. And the season is so damned long now it is a marathon.

I for one welcome the opportunity to end their season. Just imagine the fallout from KC fans and the mainstream NFL media if the chiefs get beat by us it would be hilarious😅. It'll be even worse because they won't be able to use the excuse of "they just overlooked us" because you know they're gonna be locked in after coming off a loss.

This might be the game that gives Dave his out to go back to Andy. However that Vegas game looks like an outlier now as the games after that haven’t been much better than anything Young has done

Hopefully 19 comes back and Coker can get some snaps on the outside where I think he’s much better

I just want to see Bryce continue to show signs of life. Push the ball downfield when the opportunity presents itself and move around in the pocket better

I have really enjoyed laughing at the Panthers beating the Chiefs memes.  I mean, it's been in good fun.  Bye week is a great time to be completely unreasonable.

The Chiefs played pretty poorly against the Bills.  This is a heck of a get right game for them.  I have a feeling they are going to come out hard against a weaker team.  I think the D can be feisty, but will probably get smoked.  On O...  Yeah...  This is not going to look great.

This team is 9-1, coached by an all timer, has a generational QB, and a propensity to find ways to win.  It's going to be ugly.

As far as trotting out Andy, does that help Bryce develop?  Does that help the team develop?  It's not about winning at this point (unless by some miracle/any-given-Sunday we win, then things get interesting).

    • It's honestly pretty interesting just seeing this pairing play out. Canales’ offenses (Seattle, Tampa) are run-first, under-center, play-action systems built around defined reads and intermediate/deep timing throws. That structure worked when he had QBs like Baker Mayfield or Russell Wilson in a system that created clear launch points and sightlines. His success has always been tied to a credible run game + play-action gravity. You can see that with the Panthers team building philosophy as well. Coker and TMac both are bigger receivers that won't get the best YAC production but thrive as possession receivers in contested scenarios. They're not the best in space and creating additional yardage in such, and would likely fair better systematically with a stronger armed QB who can create better opportunities on those boundary 1v1 matchups with stronger throws. Bryce, on the other hand, is a spread-native QB. His strengths are rhythm, spacing, quick processing, and off-script creation. Asking him to live in condensed formations with long-developing play-action concepts just hasn't been his forte. And well, his boundary throws are limited in velocity which takes a big chunk of the playbook off. And I mean a QB like Bryce can still work, it's just Dave's offensive philosophy and foundation is very much at odds with Young's physical limits and his own experience. So it's certainly still a learning experience for Dave to figure out how he can mesh his offensive philosophy with Young's strengths. He's very inexperienced with maximizing Bryce's strengths with his system. Would love to see us bring in an OC with spread experience and adaptability to implement a cohesive system with Dave to allow Bryce to thrive, as it's obvious we're sticking with him for a bit longer.
    • Only thing I really agreed with is questioning why we didn’t take any timeouts on their last drive.  I know hindsight is 20/20, but I think it would’ve saved clock bc they were desperate to score as soon as the opportunity presented itself, but I also think it could’ve helped the defense regroup and maybe give us a better chance to stop them.
