I've seen this movie before... Nightmare on Mint St 37.   I know exactly what this new found crowd of Bryce believers is going to do in the coming weeks.

I'm still rooting for Baby GOAT Kyle Allen

Edit: in all seriousness I may have been the last Matt Moore Stan on this board... I remember when we had some friend/relative/whatever of his constantly posting about him lol

But they should be realistic.

30 point games are relatively rare this season, and they depend on more than just the qb. Plus high scoring is an expectation of the offense as a whole, not just the qb.  Receivers have to get better before we can get to that level.

I expect, or at least want him make good decisions and limit turnovers.  Throw it accurately and play his best when the game is on the line.

We need to get better in the redzone. And yes that is an issue that involves all the moving parts. Oline receivers QB and playcalling. But Bryce himself has to lead the charge on that or surely we could face another blowout in one of these upcoming games. Every team no matter how good they are is going to face an opponent that imposes their will on them and requires the same in response. Those are the games where we have got to capitalize on drives.

Honestly I get the sense that the Chiefs on some level overlooked us.  So while I am pleased we were as competitive as we were it certainly remains to be seen if this was the beginning for something new or just an anomaly. I think that's a perfectly fair take at this juncture.

Right now it's an anomalous good game. We'll see if he builds on it but so many people so excited about 253 yards and a TD kinda speaks to just how bad he's been.  He finally showed some poise and an ability to make some throws and put together a legitimately good game. That's a good thing. But when this is your crown jewel after 20 or so starts, I mean... we still need to see a lot more over these last few games.

While I agree with you, there was a lot that was beyond the stats in that game. He was much more decisive in his target selection, worked the pocket better and seemed to actually be dictating the pace of the game to a very good Chiefs defense. And when it came to the second half and we're considerably behind the reigning back to back world champs who were 8-1 going into the game, he didn't fold and did some of his best work of the day.

Something has clicked for Bryce, not sure how far it goes, but I'm here for it.

We're going to see how he does. I think this week is a good opportunity for him. Tampa's defense is worse than ours and he should be confident. I'm waiting to see reacts when he has another bad game. Will he come out swinging the next week or will he clam up and play scared again.

I think tampa stomps them.

like 33-10

He haven't really had a big WR in a long time. Coker kinda fills that, Legette hasn't been too great at contested catches. I like Sanders but I think one of our offseason targets will be another TE or a big frame WR.

They only have XL and Coker for WRs. (AT could be cut) and most teams carry 6.

Similar deal at TE, its Sanders and nothing else. Teams carry 3-4.(could bring back temble for cheap)

Do some bad math and check on the real low cap number......panthers need to draft at least one of each and maybe 2 along with fixing the defense...

I'm actually the opposite. I think the Panthers win this week and then get stomped in Philly. I think we lose to Tampa around Christmas too.

I hope you are right, I just feel Todd bowles has Dave's number. Vita is playing well too. Basically bucs know panthers, better than panthers know bucs. They are normally great against the run, another light day for chubba

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
