its funny how fast people are forgetting how bad Bryce looked so i'm happy with the team even with the drops

I haven't forgotten that. It's why I sometimes can't believe what I'm seeing now.

What the hell happened? 😳

I’m having fun watching deep into the 4th quarter with legit opportunities to win.  Feels like ‘02.

My minimum requirement is *make me want to at least watch the entire game*

They weren’t doing that for a long time.

Today was at least watchable and fun.  We shoulda won, the future looks reasonable now.

Does he though? Why not have the 'it' factory earlier in the games?

I haven't watched the past several games for various reasons so am just playing devil's advocate. From seeing posts this week it sounded ike the team had zero chance and the defense seemed to do enough to win. Better than getting murdered  though.

He has done everything he needed to do. He can't catch the ball,  but that's not his job.

He has been putting the ball exactly where it needed to be. INT today was a fluke.

He has been let down by teammates... especially on crucial drives. He's proving to be as clutch AF. Same with Theilen. Chuba has been, but then there was that costly fumble last week.

Game plan and play calls have been good, but Bryce is making poo happen or playing well enough to make poo happen but we've got too many guys that choke at key moments.

Not Bryce, though...he's got his head where it needs to be. He's the QB we need in clutch moments.

We should have and could have beaten the chiefs, bucs, and eagles. We should be on a 5 game streak winning streak.

I feel like that's coming, though. Next year we tear it up.

At least we’re not the Giants

look at the south....Saints trending down.  Falcons trending down.  Bucs basically floating dead in the water with a chance to improve with Baker....but I'd rather have Bryce.

Our GM ain't perfect but he's better than his predecessors.  I believe we had a good draft.  And while we have hung with the Chiefs and Eagles, we have a great position in the draft.  Plus 2 4ths and 3 5ths.

The future is bright.  Improved progress and we can compete for the division title next year.

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
