Its not that bad...not sure what ur azz would be calling in the situation..

Since I played ball, I understand things unlike you Bois. Open it up.  Screens. Stretch plays. It’s all short conservative passes. Short pass plays over and over and over annnnd over keep everyone in the box. I’ve said it since day one. Canalas ain’t it.

Canales is trying to run a team full of misfits that couldn't get jobs anywhere else and a QB with the same arm talent as me.

Not true.

Canales has THE most expensive OL in the NFL.   They are good.  He has a good run game and very reliable RB.   You give that to basically any good NFL coach….and they will find a way for pretty good offense.

Canales isn’t a good OC.  Never has been.  I don’t care to wait on him to develop and grow.  Go hire an OC.  Let him call plays.  Be a HC

Canales is working with what we have on offense, I think.

QB, RB, LT, DC seem to be forced on Canales. He's developed Coker, XL & J.Sanders very well. Brooks was looking good, but a good GM should have known not to get an injured RB in the first 3 rounds.

Let Canales choose his QB, LT, and RB.

Can’t help but notice the abundance of irony in this thread title.

sometimes i fix these titles.

i don't feel motivated to do it this time. that is the title this thread deserves.

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
