And Chuba has done it with absolutely no help on offense.

dude is a stud

he does have a roadgrading OL.  However, it's his never get up, break a tackle, spin out and find a hole that is impressive.  He has a winning attitude that this teams needs to build around.

I checked our entire draft history of 4th round picks.   He's the best we've ever had from that round.

Rushing yards:
1) DeAngelo Williams - 1,515 (2008)
2) Stephen Davis - 1,444 (2003)
3) Chuba Hubbard - 1,195 (2024)
4) Jonathan Stewart - 1,133 (2009)
5) Anthony Johnson - 1,120 (1996)

Rushing touchdowns:
1) DeAngelo Williams - 18 (2008)
2) Christian McCaffrey - 15 (2019)
3) Cam Newton - 14 (2011)
4) Stephen Davis - 12 (2003)
5T) Chuba Hubbard - 10 (2024 - tied with 2008/2009 Jonathan Stewart, 2015 Cam Newton)

With two games left, Chuba has an outside chance of breaking the all-time single-season record if he averages 160 yards a game. If he averages 125 per game, he would break Davis's 2003 total.

He has one game to tie or break them.  If he does it in two games, you have to put an asterisk beside his stats.

I can’t wait for the Messiah that will dethrone MeAngelo Williams.

Has anyone in Panther history really had that big of a swing?  He went from being one of the most popular with fans to near villain

    • I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently).
