you're right....Definitely should be expecting a 2nd year QB to be able to elevate the talent around him like prime Aaron Rodgers, Peyton manning, Patrick Mahomes, Drew Brees, or Tom brady.  what was I thinking.

For a #1 overall pick?

Yeah you should. Especially when you see rookies this season doing it. Take a look at the QBs from the last 2-3 drafts and get back to me.

The Falcons are playing pretty good soo far

Either way we are going to screw over the Bucs or the Falcons. If the Falcons win tonight and the Bucs beat the Saints. It will depend on us. Falcons beat us, they are in. If they lose, Tampa is in.

In the end, we get to ruin somebody's day.

Yep it's sounds like the Falcons could get in but we shall see how they do tonight

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
