2005, we were coming off a loss to the Cowgals, and we went into Atlanta and demolished them.

Is that the game it was 38-0 or something like that at the end of the 3rd qtr and all there fans left?  I remember moving down front row

Back in the day ... Falcons at BoA. We were down by a TD, late in the fourth, we've got the ball deep in our own territory. Ball is handed off to Biakabutuka, perfect O line play/blocking, as the Falcon D is blitzing. He breaks into the secondary and is  running free..YES... nothing but grass in front of him! Then his OWN knee comes up knocks the ball out....a Falcon giving chase dives on it ... Atlanta runs out the clock. The most Panther game of them all.

Of all the teams to recount fond memories, Falcons are few and far between. They are just the team that historically, has the Panthers number. It’s not defeatism, it’s just truth.

I was at the 2016 game in ATL when we were riding high, but birds were riding higher. I saw the writing on the wall early. told dude behind me, Julio going off for 300 today against Bene. He laughed… it was a wrap. I saw 2 people with Bene jerseys. Guess they were his folks. Sorry they had to see that.

Next game I could muster at the dome, my dumb ass walked out with a little over a minute left because, well, it’s the Panthers in ATL. I’m in the concourse and all of a sudden the whole joint went quiet as a church. I deservedly missed the PJ to DJ bomb in person.

2015, Vic Beasley of all people killed our perfect season… in the dome… and wrote the blueprint Von Miller executed perfectly.

2003, Super Bowl season, Vic levitates… in the dome..  to beat us in OT.

The meaningful victories are few and far between. I really hope that changes in the future. I guess when Ryan soiled himself is an oldie but goodie.

That was 2015, and I was at that game too

No it was before that.  Was in the jake days. Looks like 06 is the game I'm thinking of 44-11 final score

2014 when the Panthers destroyed them in ATL to win the division and become the kings of sh*t mountain. The famous Ron Rivera thumbs up gif.

My least favorite was 2012, Haruki Nakamura whiffing on the deep pass to Roddy White at the end of the game, Matt Ryan screaming “get the f*ck off our field” BS.

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
